Conflict Coaching
Conflict in personal relationships is normal. Often overlooked, interpersonal conflict has the positive benefit of stretching us. "When two people come together with different ideas and common goals, they can create this huge WOW that they couldn't have done alone." (Maxine Clark, Build-A-Bear Workshop)
But at times people get stuck and conflict ceases to be constructive. Couples get stuck in a "crazy cycle" going around and around without making progress or reaching resolution. Conflicts become personal. Emotions escalate. Nerves become raw. Frustration, anger and withdrawal sets in. That is when, the sooner the better, people need to take a step back and seek the help of a neutral third party who can "coach" them in how to resolve their own conflicts. That is one service Celebrate Marriage offers. Conflict coaching is brief one to one relationship education and mentoring focused on resolving interpersonal conflict.
